Special: Liz and Dion – What’s On Your Ballot and Why It Matters

There are a lot of elected officials. From your Congressional Representative and US Senator to your local township trustee and board. What do all these people do? Most of them, we have a general idea of what they do. Congress and US Senate we often hear a lot about. Others, not so much. State Senators, State Representatives, Prosecuting Attorney, Sheriff, Commissioners, County Council, County Assessor, Township trustees, County Clerk, Township Board, Precinct Committeemen, State Convention Delegate, County Auditor, County Recorder, County Coroner, and Town Council are all on the La Porte or Porter County ballot this year. Other counties will have most, if not all, of these as well. Obviously, we can't cover every election in the state, much less outside Indiana, but we're going to do our best to talk about everything we've found on the ballot this year. Join us for an entertaining and educational show where future Commissioner Liz Bergeron and future State Representative Dion Bergeron break down the positions you're likely to see when you cast your ballot. What do they do? Why does it matter? What can go wrong when you cast an uninformed vote? What can change when you cast an informed vote? Join us at 7 PM on 3/21/22 on #DionsDailyDose and we'll break it down.
